Take in the breathtaking views this point has to offer where the Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean meet. We recommend takin a walk through from the west to the east side.

Boulders Beach
Get up close and personal with penguins at boulders Beach. Enjoy the sun, sea and quality time with your family and these magnificent animals. This is a perfect to combine with a trip towards Cape of Good Hope. Finish this amazing day with perfect seafood dinner at The Gallery in Fish Hoek.

The Constantia Winelands
Like the taste of fine wine? This is the place for you with its beautiful views of the vineyards and tasty wines the cape has to offer. But to be honest great wines are coming from all over the cape area, so take your time exploring. It might very well be that a small winery you discover today becomes the award winners of the coming.

Camps Bay and Clifton Beaches
Spend the day having some fun in the sun on one of our most beautiful beaches with the blue waters and soft and. The largest Beach (4th) is ideal for families, while (1st to 3rd) are perfect for students and young adults who like to also party during night times.

Inverdoorn Game Reserve
One of the closest game reserves to Cape Town (2,5h) with all the wild animals, South Africa became so famous for. If you are interested to go on safari but don’t like to spend the time flying to the Kruger National Park, a day or night trip to Inverdoorn is the very next best thing staying close to perfectly safe civilisation.

Stellenbosch is a university town in South Africa's Western Cape province. It's surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. The town's oak-shaded streets are lined with cafes, boutiques, and art galleries. Cape Dutch architecture gives a sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history, as do the Village Museum's period houses and gardens.

For The Kids

Cool Runnings
Go hurtling down a half-pipe in a bobsled, flying through the twists and curves as you race along the 1.25 km track. It’s fun, it’s fast, and it’s safe! Cool Runnings is a Cape Town-based family park boasting an intricate course of steel tracks and top-notch, wheeled bobsleds.

Play Putt-Putt in Mouille Point
For a fun afternoon with the family, head to the Putt-Putt (mini-golf) course situated on the promenade in Mouille Point. Try your hand at a round of mini golf. You can choose between playing two different courses. Each course consists of 18 holes of varying difficulty.

Acrobranch Constantia
Hidden deep within the Constantia Nek Forest, in the shadow of the misty mountains, lies this treetop playground. The four obstacle courses – two of which are suitable for young children, while the other two are geared towards teenagers and adults – have all the ziplines, cargo nets, and elevated platforms a budding Indiana Jones could wish for.

The Giraffe House
The Giraffe House Wildlife Awareness Centre in Stellenbosch is more of a farm than a house, home to ostriches, antelope, crocodiles and, of course, giraffes.

Polkadraai Strawberry Farm
This family-friendly farm is the perfect day out for little ones (and big ones, too). Grab a basket and let them roam around the fields picking delicious strawberries. Afterwards, they can enjoy face-painting, tractor and pony rides, and other entertainment.

SOUTH AFRICAN LINGO

South Africa is such a diverse country with 11 official languages (Afrikaans, English, IsiNdebele, IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, Sesotho sa Leboa, Sesotho, Setswana, siSwati, Tshivenda, Xitsonga) and many unofficial languages such as “Sefrican”. South African English has developed its own unique flavour, borrowing words freely from our 11 other languages. Here are a few “need to know ‘phrases to help you break the cultural ice.

- ag (agh) - Generally used at the beginning of a sentence, to express resignation or irritation, as in “Ag no man! What did you do that for?”

- Babbelas (bub-a-lars). Hangover - usually rather a bad one. From the isiZulu word for hangover isibhabhalazi.

- Bra (brah) or bru - Nothing to do with underwear at all, but an informal term for “my friend” or “mate”, deriving from “brother”. ‘He’s my bra but that team he supports is rubbish’. Bru stems from the Afrikaans for brother, broer.

- Bakkie (buck-ee) - A pick-up truck.

- Boerewors (boor-uh-vors) - Literally, farmers sausage. A savoury sausage developed by the Boers - today’s Afrikaners - some 200 years ago - boerewors is South African food at its most traditional.

- Braai (br-eye) - An outdoor barbecue, where meat such as chicken and boerewors are cooked, served with pap and bredie.

- Droewors (droo-uh-vors) - Dried boerewors, similar to biltong.

- Eina (ay-nuh or ay-nar) - Ouch! Can also mean “sore”.

- Eish (aysh) - Used to express surprise, wonder, frustration or outrage: “Eish! That cut was eina!”

- Howzit- A traditional South African greeting that translates roughly as “How are you?”, “How are things?” Or simply “Hello”.

- Hayibo (hi-ie-boh) - Expression of disbelief or irritation. “Hayibo! erdinand? Captain?”

- Ja (jaa) - Yes

- Jol (jorl) - From the Afrikaans meaning “to party” or “to have a good time”. “C’mon bru, we’re going rolling tonight”.

- lekker (lekk-ir with a rolling r) -Nice, good, great, cool or tasty.

- No-now - Shortly, in a bit: “ill be there now-now.”

- Robots - Traffic ligh
